Located in a former warehouse, the City Museum offers three floors of hands-on fun for children and the young-at-heart. The interior has been created from recycled materials from the city's demolished buildings and provides a fascinating space for play and creativity.

As well as a labyrinthine maze of tunnels, caves and climbing frames, the museum houses Art City, a place to paint, sculpt or weave, the Everyday Circus and the St Louis Architectural Museum.

Other great places for children (of all ages) are Eugene Field House and Toy Museum on South Broadway, Worldways Children's Museum at the West County Center, the Dog Museum at South Mason Road and Magic House St Louis Children's Museum at South Kirkwood Road.
